bitcritiq is a technology review and buying-advice site. The idea is narrow and we would rather do it well than do more: give you the answer first, then show you how we got there.
Why we exist
Most sites in this category make you scroll past several screens of advertising to reach a headline, then several hundred words of preamble to reach a recommendation. We measured a well-known one in August 2026: on a phone, 37% of the first three screens was advertising, and the first headline did not appear until two-thirds of the way down the opening screen.
So: every review opens with the verdict. Every article can be read in a compressed form that takes about forty seconds. No advertisement ever appears above a headline. Nothing on the page moves after it loads.
How we make money
Advertising, and commission on some links. We hold ourselves to a density limit that is well below what this category considers normal, because a site people install an ad blocker for has no future. Verdicts are written before any affiliate link exists. Full disclosure.
Who writes here
