We earn commission on some links. Here is exactly how that works and what it cannot affect.

That is the short version, and it appears on every article containing such a link, above the first one — not in the footer, and not in small print.
What commission cannot affect
Verdicts are written before affiliate links exist. The score, the recommendation and the pros and cons are finalised first. Links are attached afterwards, mechanically, from a product database. The judgement and the commission are separated by process, not by promise.
We link the best price, not the best commission. If a retailer we earn nothing from is cheaper on the day we check, that is the link you get.
We do not accept payment for a score or for inclusion in a best-of list. Not for any amount, from anyone. See the editorial policy.
How the links are marked
Every commercial outbound link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells
search engines it is a commercial relationship. This is required, and we do it
on every one.
Prices
Prices are checked on the date shown next to them and re-checked at least monthly. Prices move; a dated price is honest, an undated one becomes a lie.
Reporting a problem
If you find a commercial link that is not disclosed, or a price that is wrong, tell us at support@bitcritiq.com and we will fix it.
Amazon
We are a participant in the Amazon Associates Program. Where a product we write about is sold there, the link is tagged, and Amazon pays us a small share if you buy through it.

That sentence is required word-for-word by Amazon’s Operating Agreement, which is why it appears verbatim rather than paraphrased into our own voice.
Two things it does not mean. It does not mean we were paid to include a product: our picks come from published review scores, and the affiliate link is added afterwards to something already chosen. And it does not mean the price changes for you — it does not.
Our Amazon links say “Check price on Amazon” rather than “Buy”, deliberately. We do not publish prices we have not verified today, so the honest promise is that the link takes you to where the current price is, not that we know what it says.
