Who it suits
Best for most people, on either phone
It averages exactly what the Galaxy Watch 8 averages, at around a tenth of the Ultra's price, and TechRadar gave it a full five out of five on the grounds that a watch this good should not be this cheap. Battery is measured in days rather than hours, it works with an iPhone or an Android phone, and it carries 160-plus workout profiles with Strava sync.
Where it falls down. The widest disagreement of the three, and it is about what the watch is for: TechRadar's five sits against Digital Trends' eight and Trusted Reviews' four. The smart features are sparse next to watchOS and Wear OS — no real app ecosystem, no on-wrist assistant worth the name. This is a fitness watch that also tells the time.
