Who it suits
Only if your library is already on Kindle and you read comics
It is the only colour ereader that reads Kindle books, which for anyone with years of Amazon purchases behind them settles the question before any score does. TechRadar praised the evenness of the lighting across colour and black pixels, and manga is the use case every reviewer reaches for.
Where it falls down. The lowest consensus on this page, and the reason is Trusted Reviews at three out of five. It is also $140 more than the Kobo that does the same job, which is Tom's Guide's stated objection to it as well. Amazon now sells three Colorsofts at three different prices, so check which one a discount is actually on.
