Who it suits
Best if you want colour, and the best value on this page
It ties the Paperwhite on averaged score at twenty dollars less, and it is the only device here under two hundred dollars that shows colour. Tom's Guide's review is headed with the argument in full: no need to spend an extra $90 on the Kindle Colorsoft. It borrows library books through Libby without a computer in the way.
Where it falls down. PCMag is the coolest of the three and the reason is the screen: a Kaleido 3 panel renders colour at a lower resolution than text, so covers and comic panels look softer than the sharp type around them. Six inches is also small if you read technical books or anything with figures in it.
