Who it suits

Best if the price matters at all

It outscores the $1,199 Samsung on this page while costing $399.99. TechRadar called it the best mid-range tablet it has tested and Tom's Guide ditched an iPad for it for a fortnight without complaint. Battery is the standout: over sixteen and a half hours in TechRadar's video test, which is longer than anything else here.

Where it falls down. Digital Trends is the dissenting voice at seven out of ten, and the gap is about polish rather than any single fault. Charging tops out at 33W, modest for OnePlus, and the Android tablet app situation remains what it has always been — fine for media and browsing, thinner than iPadOS for real work.
