Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product. What each outlet scored it
| Outlet | Score | Out of ten |
|---|---|---|
| TechRadar | 4 / 5 | 8 |
| CNET | 8.2 / 10 | 8.2 |
| Tom's Guide | 4 / 5 | 8 |
Star ratings are doubled to reach a ten-point scale; outlets already scoring out of ten are unchanged. The average above is the mean of this column.
Who it suits
A budget
The budget pick in all three guides. Tom's Guide and TechRadar list long battery life among its strengths, and CNET finds it good at photography and easy to move to from an iPhone.
Where it falls down. All three call it a small step from the Pixel 9a; Tom's Guide notes it keeps the Tensor G4 chip and has a slightly dimmer screen, and TechRadar that it does not support PixelSnap. Tom's Guide and CNET reviewed it at $499; it now lists at $599.
Where this sits against the alternatives
This product is one of the picks on iPhone 18 Pro Max and Galaxy S26 Ultra Top the Phone Reviews, which compares it against the others that cleared the same three-outlet bar.
