Who it suits
The cheapest disc-free TV console
TechRadar names it its best budget console and Tom's Guide its best value. At $499.99 it is still about $100 under Sony's $599 Digital Edition, and the reviewers praise its small, quiet design.
Where it falls down. The lowest average here. TechRadar lists its 1440p target, a 512GB drive that fills fast and no disc drive; IGN found it hard to recommend as a main console. Those reviews judged a $300 machine, and Xbox now lists it at $499.99.
