Who it suits
If your home already runs on Ring
TechRadar’s best home security camera overall, at 4.5 out of 5, for a 360-degree view, a privacy cover and good motion alerts. At $59.99 it slots into a Ring system you already pay for.
Where it falls down. Tom’s Guide and PCMag both gave it 3.5: no subject tracking, 1080p at most, and no recordings at all without a Ring plan. PCMag adds that it does not work with Apple Home or Google.
Where this sits against the alternatives
This product is one of the picks on The Best Security Cameras, According to the Reviews, which compares it against the others that cleared the same three-outlet bar.
