Who it suits
Best on a budget
4.5 out of 5 from Tom’s Guide, which names it its best-value indoor camera, and from PCWorld, for $44.98. It records to a microSD card of up to 256GB with no plan, and is rated IP65 for outdoor use.
Where it falls down. Android Police gave it 7.5 out of 10, citing an outdoor power cable sold separately, no HomeKit and Wyze’s past security lapses. Tom’s Guide’s one con is choppy video at times. Cloud event video needs Cam Plus.
